Kenneth A. Konetzke, 82, passed away on October 10, 2022, after a long struggle with dementia. He was born on February 2, 1940, son of Bernard and Mary Konetzke. Ken served in the Army from 1965 to 1967. He then returned to resume working at Banta for 39 years.
Ken was an excellent bowler, enjoyed playing golf, and was a devoted Packers fan.
Ken chose to donate his body to the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health as a way to give back to others after his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Konetzke; son, Kevin (Julie Verhagen) Konetzke; grandchildren, Kevin Konetzke Jr., Keith Konetzke, and Kyra Verhagen; sister-in-law, Jean Konetzke; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Mary Konetzke; and siblings, Virginia (Donald) Flanigan, Norbert (Margaret) Konetzke, Marian Maas-Smits, James (Carol) Konetzke, Rosalie (Gene) Schramm, and Bernard Konetzke.
A service will be held for Ken on Saturday, October 15, at 11:00 AM, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 528 Second St, Menasha. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
