Kazu Unbehaun

Kazu Unbehaun, 90, passed away on December 26, 2011 at home in Appleton.

Kazu was born on November 6, 1921 in Japan. She married Master Sgt. Delbert Unbehaun in Japan and then moved to California. She worked for Social Security in Salinas, California and loved her job. After her retirement she moved to Appleton to be closer to her family. Kazu was a proud American and felt she was living the American dream. She took delight in her grandchildren and she was a constant source of amusement for them.

Kazu is survived by her daughter, Margaret (John) Setser of Appleton, three grandchildren; Richard (Kimberlee) Setser of Cape Coral, Florida, RuthAnn Setser of Clearwater, Florida, Hannah (Patrick) Ryan of Appleton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Kazu was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delbert and three sisters.

Following her wishes there will be no services.
