Kathleen M. Taff

Kathleen “Kathy” Marie Taff (Stanchina), age 87 passed away on August 30, 2026 at Silverstone Memory Care in Appleton, WI. Kathy was born on August 26,1939 in Norway, MI, the daughter of John “Jack” and Evelyn (Buckley) Stanchina.

Kathy married Franklin G. Taff on February 10, 1967 and took care of his company, F. Taff Masonry for many years before moving to Tucson, AZ. While in Tucson, Kathy worked in real estate. Kathy and Frank enjoyed doing puzzles and nightly cribbage games.

Kathy is survived by her children, Jodi Cowling, Brian (Juana) Taff, Jolene (Jason) Burke, Steven Taff, Pamela (George) Allan, Pete (Vicki) Taff, Richard (Rhonda) Taff, and Jana (Joel) Parker; her brother, James Stanchina, DDS; her sister-in-law, Viola Stanchina; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin G. Taff; her son, Franklin Taff; her step-daughter, Victoria Mueller; her son-in-law, Kurt Cowling; and her brothers, Richard “Dick” Stanchina, DDS and Willard (Banty) Stanchina.

A visitation will be held from 12:30 - 1:00 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM.
