Kathleen A. Rose

Kathleen Rose, 86, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1939, to her late parents Earl and Helen (Meehan) Criel.

Kathy was born and raised in Wisconsin, moving from Goodman to Green Bay. She attended and graduated from St. Josephs Academy. She met her first love Robert “Bob” Retzlaff while in high school. They married right after and together they had 4 children.

She loved to cook and entertain, a real social butterfly. She also liked to crochet and watch all the Wisconsin sports games. Family meant everything to her and she loved being a grandma and great grandma.

Kathy is survived by three of her children: Debra (Raymond) DeRoche, Renee (Tom) Mitchell, Rob (Heidi) Retzlaff; grandchildren: Eric Monfort, Travis (Abby) Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Nathan Kerrigan, Mac Kosmerchock, Rebecca Williams, Allison (Ben Reyer) Retzlaff, Lindsey Retzlaff, Jack Retzlaff; great grandchildren: Layla, Taylor, Hunter, Paisley, Jax, Hudson, Addison, Liam; special niece and dear friend Pam Kristoff, along with other extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Dick Rose and Bob Retzlaff; daughter Robin Hawley, son in law Dan Knaack, and three sisters and five brothers.

There will be a time to celebrate on January 9, 2026, from 3pm to 4:30pm with a memorial service at 4:30 at Wichmann Tri-County Chapel, 1592 S Oneida St. Menasha WI 54952.
