LIESCH, KATHLEEN M. “KATHY” (Reinhardt)

Kathleen M. Liesch, age 48, of Greenville, passed away on December 2, 2011 with her family by her side, as they had been for her 14 month battle with ALS (Lou Gehrigs). Kathy was born on December 3, 1962 in Neenah, the daughter of Gregory and Mary (Halle) Reinhardt. She attended St. Mary's, Menasha and graduated from Menasha High School in 1981. On June 28, 1985, Kathy married Bruce Liesch at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Greenville. Together they had three beautiful daughters that Kathy stayed home with until they started school. She was employed at Pitney Bowes for eleven years, until her health brought her to retirement in March of 2011. Kathy was known for her love of life, her great sense of humor and her adventurous spirit. She cherished time with her daughters and her family, and especially looked forward to the annual Woodtick Music Festival she attended with them.

Kathy is survived by her husband: Bruce Liesch, Hortonville; three daughters: Christi (Jake) Albert, Fitchburg; Sheri (Mathew) Wong, Oak Creek ; Anne Liesch, at home and Anne's friend Kyle Krake; parents: Gregory and Mary Reinhardt, Amberg; five siblings: Gregory Reinhardt II (Kathy Skog), Neenah; Jeffrey (Cathy) Reinhardt, West Allis; Michael (Cori) Reinhardt, Olympia, Washington; Paula (John) Rivers, Menasha and Sarah (Brian) Decker, Fremont; father and mother-in-law: Roger and Sherry Liesch, Hortonville. In addition, she will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extended special thanks to; Paula and John Rivers, Andrea Pelot, ThedaCare at Home Hospice, Right at Home, and many other caregivers, and ALS Chapter of Wisconsin for their excellent care provided to Kathy.

The funeral service for Kathleen will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at SHEPHERD OF THE HILLS LUTHERAN CHURCH, N1615 Meadowview Drive, Greenville. Rev. Paul L. Shackel will be officiating. Interment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Monday at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and again at church from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial to the ALS Chapter of Wisconsin would be appreciated.
