Judith R. Holtz

Passed away peacefully at Oakridge Gardens surrounded by loved ones on December 23, 2021, at the age of 78.  Judy was born on January 9, 1943, to Daniel and Alyce (nee Sanderson) Butler in Appleton, WI. Judy was joined in marriage to Steven Holtz, the love of her life, on June 25, 1966 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Appleton.

Steve and Judy traveled extensively, especially to their condo, which was there second home, in Akumal, Mexico. Judy was the secretary of the Board of Directors of the Town of Menasha Parks and Recreation for many years. She was responsible for the creation parks in Menasha where children could play. She was also a volunteer at the Bergstrom Mahler Museum in the gift store. Judy enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, reading, and belonged to the Manhattan Dance Club. Judy and Steve were socialites and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.

Judy is survived by her daughters Beth Kloss and Cindy (Paul) Renard; grandchildren Alycen and Carley Kloss and Nick, Robert, and Jack Renard; and in-laws Chuck (Judy) Holtz and Karen Herz.

Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Steve, and her parents.

The visitation for Judy will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street, on Thursday December 30, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Private entombment at Highland Memorial Park.

Judy’s family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff of Oakridge Gardens and St. Paul Hospice for their wonderful care shown to Judy and her family during her illness.
