Age 64, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton on Sunday, September 13, 2009. She was born on September 10, 1945 the daughter of the late John and Irene (Piepenburg) Verstegen. On September 7, 1991 she married Thomas Strover in Combined Locks. Judi was an administrative assistant for many years at Bel-Kaukauna U.S.A. She was a faithful sister of the Appleton-South Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Judi is survived by her husband, Tom; children: Scott (Nancy) Hoelzel and their children: Emma and Alex, all of Bay St. Louis, MS; Heather (Christopher) Ristow and child, Gabriel, all of Oshkosh; Erika (Michael) Pond of Appleton; brother, Dennis (Jan) Verstegen of Madison; and sister: Diane (Marty) Wynboom of Combined Locks.

The memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2909 N. Roemer Rd., Appleton, with James Pleschek, Jr. officiating. Friends will be received at the Kingdom Hall from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family extends a special thank you to those who provided care and loving support during her battle with cancer.
