Juanita L. Price

Juanita L. Price, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home in Appleton. She was born on May 15, 1921 in Shawano, daughter of the late Leo and Bertha (Kull) Zaddack. She attended college in Stevens Point where she earned her teaching degree. On July 28, 1944, Juanita married Edward G. Price in Waupaca. He preceded her in death on November 29, 1990, following forty-six years of marriage. During her life, Juanita worked at several jobs, which included teaching, secretarial, nurse's aide, manufacturing, and waitressing. The job she most enjoyed was being a mother to her seven children. She also loved to work in her yard, singing in the church choir, and visiting with her family and friends. Juanita was a longtime and faithful member of St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by five sons and two daughters: Edward A. Price of Arizona; Bonnie (Duane) Dorris of Arizona; Gregory Price of Menasha; Daniel (Melissa) Price of Appleton; Alan (Sandy) Price of Florida; Conroy (Lisa) Price of Pine River; and Frances Price of Texas. Further survivors include twenty-three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Lila (Maynard) Schumacher of Minnesota and Pearl Zaddack of Shawano; a brother-in-law: Elroy Storm of Wauwatosa; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband: Edward G. Price; three brothers: Alfred (Alice) Zaddack; Leonard Zaddack; and Harold (Ethel) Zaddack; two infant children: Lee Wynn Price and Heather May Price.

The Christian Funeral service for Juanita will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at ST. MATTHEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 129 S. Mason Street in Appleton, with Rev. Thomas Mielke officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again at the church on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
