Joyce Marie Malueg

Joyce Marie Malueg was born on November 3^rd, 1943, the daughter of Walter and Laura Luebke. She was received into God’s Kingdom of Grace through the sacrament of Holy Baptism on December 5th, 1943 at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was instructed in the truths of the scripture and confirmed at St. Paul on April 14^th, 1957. She attended Fox Valley Lutheran High School, graduating in 1961. Joyce was united in marriage to her best friend and the love her life Allen on January 26, 1962.

Joyce wanted nothing more than to be a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and Christian role model for her family. She devoted her life to this.

She began raising her family and cared for other children in her home for many years. She became like a second mother to all of her grandchildren while baby sitting for each of them. She’d have had it no other way.

She spent her life giving time and energy where she built her faith. An endless abundance of hours and years she spent volunteering on many projects and committees at her church and school. She was very creative and talented at many types of crafting. She used these gifts during that volunteer work. She was a long-time member and former president of the St. Paul Ladies Aid and was instrumental in starting the Buckaroo Program (boys youth group) at church.

Another huge part of her and Allen’s life was making memories and spending time at their cottage on Pelican Lake with family and friends.

Joyce was called to her eternal home on June 15, 2023 at the age of 79.

She will be dearly missed by her husband Allen; her son Randy (Jean) Malueg, her daughter Sheryl  (Mick) Wert, her son Dan (Tracey) Malueg; her grandchildren Brittany Malueg, Tyler (Britni) Malueg, Alesha Jungwirth, Anna Burch, Travis Burch, Wyatt  (Kendra) Wert, Shasta Wert, Courtney (Aaron) Stapleton; six great grandchildren; sister Luella (Bill) Kietz, sister- in - law Marilyn Beyer; along with many nieces, nephews, and other close relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Laura Luebke, Sisters Ginny and Garnett. Along with many other close relatives and Friends.

In Lieu of Flowers a memorial will be established for St Paul Lutheran Church.

Visitation time for Joyce will be held at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church (302 N. Morrison Appleton, WI 54911) on Monday, June 19th from 9:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am.
