LOEWENHAGEN, JOYCE M.

Joyce Loewenhagen, age 74, of Appleton, died on Thursday, April 21, 2011. She was born March 19, 1937 in Appleton, the daughter of the late Harvey and Elda (Burmeister) Schultz. On September 22, 1955 she married the love of her life, Dale Loewenhagan at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. Joyce was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Appleton. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and visiting with her relatives and friends.

Joyce is survived by her three sons: Randy (Della) Loewenhagen, Nekoosa; Scott (Rochelle) Loewenhagen, Appleton and Tom (Laura) Loewenhagen, Appleton; her grandchildren: Kristi (Dave) Lehman, Kenneth (Michelle) Loewenhagen and Kelly (Nick) Faymoville; Lynsi (William) Puetz and Jacci Loewenhagen; Matthew and BreeAnna Loewenhagen; great grandchildren: Meara and Maddy Lehman; Morgan and Parker Loewenhagen; Camden Faymoville; her sister: Mary Jane Owens, Appleton; sisters-in-law: Betty Schultz, Appleton; Pat Loewenhagen, Kaukauna and Ruth Schroeder, Appleton; brothers-in-law: Wilfred (Mary) Loewenhagen, Appleton and Joseph VanderWeilen, Appleton. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers: Harvey (Dorothy) Schultz, Jr. and Wilmer Schultz; brothers-in-law Earl (Ila Mae) Loewenhagen, Edward Loewenhagen, Kenneth Schroeder and Robert (Betty) Heegeman and her sister-in-law: Shirley VanderWeilen.

The funeral service for Joyce will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 302 N. Morrison Street, Appleton. Rev. Kenneth L. Frey will be officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church are appreciated.
