Joyce L. Vilsoet

Joyce Vilsoet, 85, of Appleton went to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 11, 2010 surrounded by the love of her family. Joyce was born on April 6, 1925 to Frank and Bertha (Schroeder) Elstad in Chicago. She retired after working many years for the State of Wisconsin.

Joyce is survived by and will be missed by her seven children and their families; Gail (Bruce) Beyersdorf, Hartford, Laurel (Walter) Heil, De Pere, Lloyd (Therese) DeWald, Lake St. Louis, MO, Pat (Scott) Niles, Appleton, Sue (John) Grondine, St. Charles, MO, Deborah (Randy) Nett, Appleton, Jennifer (Andrew) Bellile, Appleton, 22 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren with two more expected. Joyce was preceded in death by the love of her life Walter L Vilsoet.

A celebration of new life service for Joyce will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH ((209 S. Allen St. Appleton) 10:30 AM with Pastor Kurt Kovanen and Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the Church.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Rennes Health Care Center for the wonderful care given to Mom and the entire family, words cannot express our gratitude for the love, support and care you have given Mom.
