Josh L. Riddle

Joshua Leighton Riddle, age 31, passed away in the hospital on August 8, 2017, due to complications from an asthma attack. Josh was born in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 24, 1986. He grew up in Menasha and remained in the Appleton area.

Josh was a loving son and brother who was passionate about nature and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a gifted and talented artist as well as a forward thinker who loved anything related to the sciences and technology. Josh was a devoted friend with a kind soul, a warm heart, and a strong faith.

Josh is survived by Barb (John) Aslin, Tommy (Nicole and daughter Cadence) Riddle, Lois Borchardt, Alexa (Jordan and son Jordy) Banda, Vince (Melissa and children Boss and Mario) Aslin, Audi (Micah and daughter Addison) Long, Brian (Jackie) Borchardt, Brenda (Jonathan) Shaw, John and Ann Aslin, Pattilyn (Doug) Guilford, Mary Ann Cain, and Josh’s special friend Bobbi Jo. He will also be missed by numerous cousins and friends who are much loved. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Riddle and grandfather Roland Borchardt.

A memorial service for Josh will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017, at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 East Glendale Avenue, with Rev. Daniel Thews officiating. Friends may gather at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Josh’s name. We will miss you so much Josh and your ability to make us laugh. We wish you could have stayed here with us longer, but we know you are in heaven, no longer battling asthma. We love you!
