Joseph P. Corrigan

Joseph Patrick Corrigan, 44, 818 S. Arlington St., Appleton, died on Friday, December 3, 2021. He was born on August 2, 1977, in Green Bay, son of Marlene Tyriver Corrigan and the late Patrick John Corrigan.

At 6’7” Joseph was considered a gentle giant by anyone who knew him. His heart matched his height by measure. Joseph loved talking to people and getting to know them. He loved animals and walking his dog Charlie. In his free time, Joseph loved spending time fishing, bowling and playing video games.

Joe is survived by his mother, Marlene Corrigan, Appleton; his sisters and brothers, Karen (Randy) Sagen, Abrams; Jim Corrigan, Seymour; Tom Corrigan, Manitowoc; Wendy Corrigan, Green Bay; Sandy Corrigan, Hartland; and Tammy (Brian) Wakley, Newalla, Oklahoma. As well as many nieces and nephews: Nicole, Nathan, Cassie, Jackie, Christian, Melissa, Teagan, Patrick, Katie, Ali, Lane, Mason, Julianne and Caleb.

Joseph was proceeded in death by his father Patrick and his brother Chad.

Visitation and service will be held on Saturday, December 18, from 11 am to 1 pm with service starting at 1 pm, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior St.  Private burial to follow. In lieu of flowers Joe has requested for donations to be made to Fox Valley Humane Society.
