John Yates Olson, age 80, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023, at the Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
John truly enjoyed life: from skiing with the fox ski club and traveling the world with his partner Char, to working at the Neenah Foundry. He loved the water, especially while on his pontoon boat. John appreciated extra spicy Indian food and good bourbon barrel beer.
John will be lovingly remembered by his family as a kindhearted, hardworking, thoughtful man who would do anything for anyone.
John, you will be missed!
