Formerly of Green Bay, age 68, died on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Cherry Meadows Hospice. John was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on August 19, 1937, son of the late Franklyn and Dorothy (Melotte) Smith. He married Carol LuMaye on April 14, 1958 and they have enjoyed 48 years of marriage. John was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
