She attended school in Sturgeon Bay and Kewaunee WI and was a 1968 graduate of Sturgeon Bay High School. Joan was married February 27, 1971, to John Hart in Sturgeon Bay. They lived in Sturgeon Bay, except for a short time in Idaho Springs Colorado, before moving to Appleton in 1989. Joan worked for several different health related companies prior to retiring in 2015. The biggest joy of her life was family and she was especially pleased by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.
She was a kind-hearted lady who enjoyed interacting with the people who were her clients and friends. She also always enjoyed celebrating the Holiday seasons especially Christmas.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Martha Schell and a brother-in-law Donald Mraz. She is survived by her husband John Hart of Appleton; her daughters: Jennifer L. Hart and Amy L. Hart, her grandchildren Ethan J. Hart, Alexandria J. Hart, Delvin D.
