Joan H. Holloway, 91, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026. She was born on October 23, 1934, in Neenah, the daughter of Raymond and Loretta (Hoffman) Tuchscherer. Joan was united in marriage to Daniel “Bob” Holloway on May 14, 1955, at St. Margaret Mary Parish, Neenah, and he preceded her in death on May 18, 2013.
Joan was first and foremost a mother of her four children. She was active and involved in their lives and activities over the years, as a girl scout and cub scout leader, and in the school library and cafeteria. Joan was also a devout lifelong member of St. Margaret Mary Parish, Neenah. She spent countless hours working the craft sales, bake sales, knitting and crocheting mittens for the Christmas giving program. Over the years, she also made numerous afghans, slippers, and barbie clothes. She enjoyed, camping, traveling, and bus trips with Bob. Joan was a huge Packer and Badger fan, and she will be remembered most for her strong willed and opinionated spirit, along with her feisty personality and great sense of humor.
Joan is survived by her children: Laurie Holloway, Nancy (Chris) Champeau, Lynn (Randy) Hannes, and Larry (Jill) Holloway; three grandchildren: Jeremy Hannes, Sarah (Chad) Clarkson, and Nick Holloway; a great grandchild: Addison Herb; a brother: Gene (Carol) Tuchscherer; a brother-in-law: Gus Ballas; other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Joan was further preceded in death by three siblings: Elaine (Patrick) Juneau, Raymond (Charlotte) Tuchscherer, and Loretta (Henry) Kohfeldt; brothers- and sisters-in-law: John (Elaine) Holloway, Lawrence (Beverly) Holloway, Francis (Dorothy) Holloway, Glen (Dorothy) Holloway, Mary Jane (Norman) Leitermann, Patrick (Mary Lou) Holloway, Joseph Holloway, and Beatrice “Boots” Ballas.
Memorial service will be held at 11AM, on Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah. Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 930AM until the time of the service. Joan will be laid to rest in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah.
