Joan C. Beach

Joan C. Beach, age 95, was called to her heavenly home on November 14, 2023. Born January 26, 1928, to Catherine (VanderLoop) and Peter VerBockel, Joan was third oldest in a family of eleven children.

Joan married Thomas E. Beach on August 26, 1946, and enjoyed over forty years together until his death on February 21, 1988. Together they had 12 children.

Joan is survived by her children: Sue Kirchner (Ron), Bruce Beach (fiancée’ Catherine), Mark Beach (Judith), Joseph Beach (Kathleen), Elizabeth Schutte (Scott) and Patrick Beach (Tracy) and daughter-in-law Lori Beach and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in heaven is husband Tom and children Robert, Samuel, Louise, Daniel, Bryan, Andrew and daughter-in-law Kristin Beach along with family members Alice and Edward Marx, Agnes Karner-Rademacher (Norbert and Cliff), John VerBockel, Teresa and Leo Fink, Ken Fassbender, Judy VerBockel, Eugene and Mary Anne VerBockel, Gerald VerBockel, Harry and Myrtle Beach, Jim and Marion Beach, Bertha and Melvin Weigert, Mary and Jerome Coenen, Vera and Earl Weigert, Paul and Harry Jr. Beach.

She leaves behind siblings Mary Fassbender, Janet VanDeLoo (Cliff), Clarence VerBockel, Lynn Lerquin (Fran) and sister-in-law Joanne VerBockel.

A service for Joan will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Fargo Funeral Home, located at 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna with burial to follow at Holy Angels Cemetery in Darboy.  Visitation begins on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
