Jennifer Jean Schmidt

Jennifer (Jen) Jean Schmidt, 49, of Neenah, passed away peacefully at home on 

February 12, 2024. She was a fun-loving sister, aunt, and friend to many. Jennifer 

had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She had a special love for anything purple, Lenny Kravitz, and kitties. Jen was selfless, empathetic, and caring. She always wanted the best for everyone around her, especially her loved ones.  

On June 24, 1974, Jeffrey and Barbara Schmidt welcomed Jennifer into their

family in Oshkosh WI. Jennifer attended Menasha High School and graduated in 

1992. After graduating from high school, she attended Martins College of 

Cosmetology where she received her cosmetology license. She had a natural talent for hair, passion for color, and immense dedication. She then worked at Heads of Time where she eventually became her own boss, renting a chair through Heads of Time and creating Krazy-4-Kravitz. Her friends and family were inspired by her independence, determination, work ethic, and resilience. 

We will always carry your memory in our hearts. 

Jennifer is survived by her father Jeffrey Schmidt, brother Jeffrey Schmidt, her brother 

Peter (Terri) Schmidt, her nieces and nephew, other extended family, and many 

very special friends. She also leaves behind her kitty Khaos. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Fair, grandfather Frank Schmidt and 

grandmother Evelyn Schmidt. 

A special thank you goes out to all who have touched her life in so many ways 

over the years. A special mention to Trish, Suzie, Terri M., Tanya B., and Jackie. 

We also want to say thank you to Riverside Commons Apartments, the multiple 

friends she made there and to Wendy the manager for looking out for her as well. 

Funeral services will be held at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street 

Appleton, on Friday March 15,2024. Visitation will be from 2– 4pm followed by a 

service at 4pm.
