Jeanne C. Killian

Jeanne Carole Killian (Biselx), age 94, passed away on August 15, 2026. She was born October 31, 1931, to the late Byron and Hilda (Werschem) Biselx.

Jeanne attended Holy Cross Elementary School and Kaukauna High School, graduating in 1950. In 1949-50 she studied voice at Lawrence College Conservatory of Music.

While a sophomore in high school, Jeanne met her future husband, Paul Killian. The couple married on July 26, 1952, and celebrated 71 years of marriage before Paul passed in 2023.

Paul and Jeanne raised six children in Kaukauna. They lived in their homestead from 1951 until 2020. St. Mary of the Annunciation was the family parish, where Jeanne participated in many church and school functions. She was Troop Leader for both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Jeanne was a member and President of Chaminade Women’s Chorus, Vocalist for Tony Winters Orchestra 1949-50. Jeanne enjoyed family gatherings, preparing meals, the many years of making greeting cards, and years of motor home traveling with Paul.

Life has been good!

Jeanne is survived by her children, Paula, Perry (Sid), Wendy, Kurt (Lynette), Sandra (Keith), and daughter-in-law Nancee.

Grandchildren: Neil (Marissa), Katie, Aaron (Carrie), Jeremy (Carrie), Dr. Leah (Dr. Troy), Lisa (Dan), Robin (Rich), Karen, Sharon (Chris), Brad, Mallory (John), Kellie (Davis), Lindsey (Cody), Phil (Bobbi), Paul, Jena (Paul), Cody (Brianna), and Kala.

Great-Grandchildren: Cameron, Alexia (Seth), Zac, Aiden, Gavin, Addi (Ethan), Cal, Jaci, Amari, Wyatt, Watson, Walker, Wolfie, Alice, Cleo, Zachary, Emma, Quinton, Ethan, Grayson, Scarlette, Theo, Claire, Sage, Brody, Raelynn, Evan, and Jenna.

Great-Great-Grandchildren: Aria, Sunnie, Lucy, and Ace.

Jeanne is also survived by her brother-in-law, Mickey (Sherry); and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her son, Kevin; her parents, Byron and Hilda; her sisters, Joyce (John) and Karen; and her in-laws, Henry and Susan (Schmitz) Killian, Robert (Claire), Marie (Ken), Rita (Fran), Jean (Herb), and Joyce (Bill).

A memorial visitation will be held for Jeanne from 9-11 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish - St. Mary Site, 119 W 7th St, Kaukauna, WI 54130 with a mass to follow at 11 AM. Jeanne will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Kaukauna, WI. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established for the various organizations and charities Jeanne was passionate about.

Jeanne's family would like to extend a special thanks to all of the wonderful nurses, doctors, and other supporting staff at Compassus Hospice and Aspire Senior Living for the dutiful compassion and care shown to Jeanne and her family during her time of need.
