Jeanne B. Gigstead

Jeanne B. Gigstead, age 68, peacefully passed away at Brewster Village Long-Term Care Community with family by her side on Monday, October 9, 2023.  Jeanne was born on August 20, 1955, to her late parents Elman and Althea (Fenske) Gigstead.  Jeanne had a strong faith in the Lord and was very proud of her bible knowledge when meeting with the pastors from Bethany Lutheran Church.

During her lifetime she took great pride in her embroidery skill of dishtowels which she gifted to family members.  All the family dogs through the years held a special place in her heart. 

 She is survived by her sisters Pamela (Keith) Jeske and Connie (Lyle) Haltinner and nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Gigstead and sister-in-law, Linda Gigstead.

The Christian Funeral Service for Jeanne will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, located at 537 North Superior Street in Appleton.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.  Jeanne will be laid to rest at Appleton Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.
