Jeanette Marie Olszewski

Jeanette Olszewski, 85, passed away on May 23, 2021. She shared a birthday with her husband Chester, who she is now reunited with in Heaven. Faith, family, and serving others were Jeanette’s priorities. She was selfless, loving, humble, and hardworking. Mom was a true matriarch, a rock of stability and a woman of great strength and character to those who knew her best.

Jeanette is survived by her children: Sue (Joe) Gorzelitz, John Olszewski, Cindy (John) Sell, Joe (Connie) Olszewski, and Jerry (Deana) Olszewski; a daughter-in-law:  Sara Olszewski; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jeanette was further preceded in death by a son: Jim Olszewski; a granddaughter: Jenny Pagel; and 10 siblings and their spouses.

Funeral services will be held at 6:30 pm, on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Friday, at the Chapel from 3:00 pm until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.

Jeanette’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all the caregiving Angels involved in mom’s life, especially, the staff of Gardens of Fountain Way.
