Jean Ann Mauthe

October 8, 1960 — November 19, 2023

Appleton

I have left this earth after living a life of many, many blessings. Thank you Lord!

My main blessing was all the people in my life, especially my wonderful, very loving, big-hearted, generous, patient, faith-filled, and tender husband, and my very loving, compassionate, and thoughtful children, their spouses, and our grandchildren. I loved you with all my heart every day and every minute of each day. Thank you Lord for the gift of each one and for making them who they are. What a gift!!!

Thank you Joe for all the wonderful prayer time that we shared over the years. You helped shape me into the person I was. I will always be grateful for that. And God’s blessing on my very loving, compassionate and thoughtful children, their spouses and our grandchildren.

Thank you for all my siblings and their families. What a blessing to have you always in my life. Mom & Dad started something good and taught us to continue that. We have to realize how rare and special it is to have always loved each other and been there for each other. And what wonderful spouses and kids who joined our Vetta clan. I love you all so much!

Thank you for the Mauthe family that I married into and all of the love that you all have shown me for the past 38 years that I have been happily married to Joe.

And for everyone else God put in my life. All my dear friends, the SNC gals, the Clara Street gang, the Saint Bernadette families, my Bible ladies, all those I got to volunteer with, the doctors and nurses and medical staff who took such good and compassionate care of me over the past 15 years, the wonderful people at Heartland Hospice, and all the random people I got to meet each day. What a joy and gift!

It is an easy concept to love and respect everyone you meet, but we make it so complicated. I pray for everyone still here on earth to grasp this concept and try to make this a better place by loving everyone as God has LOVED us!!

Thank you to my family for all your constant love and the joy you brought me. My favorite things were being a wife to Joe and later when I was called “Mom” or “Ma” :) and later still called “Grandma Jean” or “Mommy Jean”. I loved and cherished each and every hug you all have given me over the years. I felt so much love each time I received one of those strong, heartfelt hugs from each of my guys.

I will love you Joe, Jim, Tom, and Andy and all of your wonderful families forever and ever. God’s blessings always on all of you. I am with my Mom and Dad again and we are all smiling down on you and praying for your happiness and holiness.

Instead of flowers, please consider making a donation to one of your favorite charities. Some of the agencies that I’ve volunteered at and have supported include:
and Pillars.

I love you all,

Jean
