Janie Carol Miller

Janie Miller 70, passed away peacefully on November 29th 2025 surrounded by the people who loved her most. She was a strong, hardworking woman who spent her life doing everything she could for her family.

She was known for her feisty, outspoken personality — the kind that made people laugh, feel protected, and never wonder where they stood. But behind that tough exterior was a soft, generous heart. If someone needed help, she didn’t think twice; she just stepped in. That was simply who she was.

In her later years, she faced the challenges of dementia with courage and resilience. Even on the hardest days, her warmth, humor, and stubborn little spark still came through.

She is survived by her daughter, Renee; her husband, Kenney; and her four grandchildren — Destiny, Gloria, Serenity, and Elijah — who were the light of her life. She also leaves behind loving family in California, who will always carry her memory close to their hearts.

She will be remembered for her honesty, her fire, her laughter, and the way she loved with everything she had. Her absence leaves a deep emptiness, but her spirit will continue to live on in the stories, memories, and love she leaves behind.

The family would also like to say thank you to the Peabody Manor staff and Theda care Hospice team for their support and help during this difficult time.

There will be no formal visitation or funeral service, but the family will come together for a Celebration of Life at a later date, to honor her the way she would have wanted — with love, memories, and the people who meant the most to her.
