Janet A. Hickey

Janet "Jan" Ann Hickey (Schoultz), age 83 of Menasha, WI joined her heavenly kingdom on September 8, 2026. She was born to Albin and Marie (Walbrun) Schoultz on October 23, 1942 in Menasha, WI. After graduating from St. Mary High School, she worked for the Banta Corporation, then Town & County Electric, then finally retired from Air Wisconsin. Jan was married three times throughout her life, with each husband bringing their own joy to her life.

Jan enjoyed many things, but as her last career would suggest, she loved traveling. She traveled all over the world, including Europe, Asia, South America, and even Antarctica! She took a river cruise down the Mississippi River and around the entirety of South America, but she held a special place in her heart for Ireland. Jan held a deep conviction for her faith and trusted in God’s plan, even through the hard times. More than anything, though, Jan loved her family and cherished every moment with her spouses, children, and especially grandchildren!

Jan will be deeply missed by her husband, James “Jef” Femal; her children, Scott and Christopher; her grandchildren, Ryan, Austin, Alora, and Alexa; her siblings, Ellen, Janice, Bill, and Kevin; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

In heaven, Jan is reunited with her former husbands, Terry Sharron and Russ Hickey; her parents, Albin and Marie; and her siblings, Mary, Jerry, and Bob.

A funeral visitation will be held for Jan from 9-11 AM on Friday, September 18, 2026 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 324 Nicolet Blvd, Menasha WI 54952 with a mass to follow at 11 AM. Jan will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Menasha, WI at a later date.
