HAWLEY, JANE DIANE “JANIE” (nee BUCZEK)

Jane Diane Buczek-Hawley, age 53, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Brewster Village in Appleton, from a long battle with Huntington's disease. She was born on May 23, 1958 in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Robert and Marlys (Midtlen) Buczek. Janie worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years in Eau Claire, in which she loved caring for others. She was a big sports fan and loves the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. Janie loved surrounding herself with animals.

She is survived by her children: Chris Siddons, Rhinelander; Jason Hawley, Eau Claire; Shelly Casey, Appleton and Sara Hawley, Eau Claire; thirteen grandchildren: Jason Jr., Khloe, Bree, Kaitlyn, Jared, Savannah, Tristen, Terrell, Haili, Bella, Samera, Michael and Graci; two brothers: Robert Buczek, Sullivan and Scott Buczek, Worthington, Indiana; sister: Sandra (Daniel Evans, Sr.) Buczek, Clay City, Indiana; nieces and nephews: Robert Jr., Tammy, Michelle, Tom, Jeff, Daniel Jr., Brandon (godson), Austin and Joey. Janie was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Buczek.

The memorial service for Janie will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2012 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Deacon Rick Simon will be officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at Delafield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Huntington's Disease Society of American are appreciated.

The family would like to thank the staff at Brewster Village and ThedaCare at Home Hospice for their extraordinary care of Janie during her final days. Special thanks to all the staff at Harbor Haven in Fond du Lac, for helping Janie feel at home for the last seven years.
