James (Jim) Michael Spietz, 56, Kaukauna, WI passed away unexpectedly, October 8, 2026. Jim was born on January 25, 1970, to Frederick & Judith Spietz of Kaukauna. He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1988 and then began his lifelong career at Jack's Pizza in Little Chute, now known as Nestle. Jim loved nature, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart and would have done anything for anyone. He may have been late, but he showed up for all. He made us all laugh with his one liners like “C’mon, Is It?” and "All done" and the famous State Farm commercial, "Six callers ahead of us, Jimmy!" So many memories we will never forget.
Jim is survived by his parents, Fred & Judy, his wife, Jean Spietz, his stepchildren, Alex (Kayla) Broehm, Courtney (Logan) LaTulip & Cody (Kayla) Broehm and 13 grandchildren, Coraline, Connor, Oliver, Zaylee, Autumn, Adaline, Kynlee, Graham, Bailey, Porter, Arlo, Baker & Quinn. Jim is further survived by his brothers Daniel Spietz (special friend Lisa), Robert (Jill) Spietz and sister Lori (Mark) Herzfeldt, nieces and nephews, Rebecca, Tyler, Alex & Bryanna Spietz and Derek & Chloe Herzfeldt, sisters-in-law Sylvia Loose, Sharon Brochtrop, Barb (Dwight) Hogan and brother-in-law Dave (Laurie) Bethke. A special thank you to Adam for your friendship, support and kindness towards Jim. He appreciated you.
Preceding him in death are his father & mother-in-law, Bernard & Roslyn Bethke, brother-in-law, Daniel Bethke, and grandparents Harry & Alice Spietz and Myron & Frances Meulemans.
A memorial funeral liturgy will be held for Jim on Tuesday October 27, 2026, at 1:30pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna with Father Luke Ferris officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:30am until mass begins. Jim will be laid to rest following the service at Holy Cross Cemetery.
