James Mark Keberlein

James M. Keberlein, 80, peacefully passed away in the loving arms of his wife and children on April 23, 2024. Jim was born in Neenah on March 11, 1944 to Elmer and Sylvia (Sergo) Keberlein.

Jim proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army, where he earned the National Defense Service and Good Conduct Medals and was recognized as an excellent Sharpshooter. He married the love of his life, Sandra Ann Bree, on September 16, 1988. He devoted 37 years of hard work to Thilmany Mill, becoming the Garage Superintendent before his well-deserved retirement. Jim enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, bowling, golf and was an avid Green Bay Packer and NASCAR fan. 

Jim is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandra, children Jim (Lisa) Schuppler, Alexandra (David) Hudzinski, Megan (Dylan) Marcon, grandchildren June Schuppler and Veda Marcon, siblings Allan (Mona) Keberlein, Nancy (Ralph) Schroeder, Michael (Pat) Keberlein, Elmer Keberlein, Joan Keberlein, Mary Van Horn, Russell (Mary) Keberlein, Julie Wichelt, Jane Berg, Melissa (Glen) Sather. 

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Edward Keberlein, sister-in-law Janice Keberlein, mother-in-law, Beverly Bree and grandson Otis Schuppler.

A memorial service for Jim will be held at Wichmann Fargo Funeral Home, 400 West Wisconsin Ave. in Kaukauna on Sunday, April 28th from 12:00 pm until time of service at 2:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at The Hardware Store Bar, 128 E 2nd St. in Kaukauna following the service. To honor Jim, the family requests that attendees wear Green Bay Packer or NASCAR attire.

In a final act of selflessness, Jim made the decision to donate his body to science through Science Care. Jim’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the ThedaCare Hospice caregivers for their care and compassion.
