James "Jim" Robert Verbeten

James “Jim” Robert Verbeten, 72, passed away on July 23, 2022. He was born on September 22, 1949, in Appleton, to Robert and Ruth Verbeten. He graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School and University of WI - Stout. He was a life-long member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. On January 18, 1975, he married the love of his life, Ann Gallman.

Jim was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He spent his time playing cards with his friends and supporting his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ruth Verbeten; and his in-laws, Marshal and Helen Gallman.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Verbeten; son, Pete (Dawn) Verbeten and their children, Brittanie, Brad, and Nick; son, Michael (Angela) Verbeten and their children, Annabelle, Megan, and Michael; brother, Randy (Sue) and their family; and many aunts, uncles, in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Per Jim’s wishes, a private service and burial has been held.
