James Herbert Heisler

James H. Heisler passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Helen’s House Assisted Living on November 4, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born in Seymour, WI, to his parents, Herbert and Elsie (Rusch) Heisler.

James was a dairy farmer for many years in Seymour and later became a truck driver until his retirement. He was a fan of sports, loved visiting Florida, and riding his snow mobiles in the winter.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Elsie, sisters, Pearl (Russell) Detwiler and Verna (Alvin) Ott, and stepdaughter, Debra Vander Zanden. He is also survived by his daughter, Shawnlee Heisler, stepson, Daniel Carmody, granddaughter, Renee (Peter) Page, and some nieces and nephews.

The family of James would like to thank Compassus and Helen's House for all their attention and care towards James in his final days.
