James C. Van Mun

Passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 86. Jim was born to John and Antonia (Van Orsow) Van Mun on March 18, 1935, in Kimberly WI. Jim served in the US Coast Guard from 1952 until his honorable discharge in 1956. Jim was then employed through Local 127 as an industrial insulation installer and retired in 1997 after 37 years of service.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Joan (nee Heckel) and his children Gerry, Ken (Sarah), Joe (Kathy), Anne (Richard) Van Handel, Pauline Forrest, Timothy Kilsdonk, Daniel (Kendra) Kilsdonk, and Joseph KIlsdonk.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Laurie.

The funeral liturgy for Jim will be held at Holy Spirit Parish-Kimberly Site, 600 E. Kimberly Ave on Friday January 21, at 12 Noon. Memorial visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of services. Private interment at Highland Memorial Park.
