Age 86, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Peabody Manor after a lingering illness. Irma was born on June 28, 1914, in Freedom to the late Rev. Gustav and Carolyn (Eisenlofel) Dettman. She married Orme Stach on May 29, 1937, in Appleton; he preceded her in death on February 1, 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret (Glen) Nau, Appleton; her grandchildren, Michael (Connie) Nau, Appleton; Stephen (Tracy) Nau, Neenah; Douglas (Vicki) Nau, Appleton; Kim Jensen, New London; Nancy Nault, Neenah, and Scott Willecke, Menasha; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Willecke, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 23, 2001, at ST. PAUL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 302 North Morrison Street, Appleton, with Rev. Kenneth Frey officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in her name. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Peabody Manor for their loving care.
