Kirk, Harold H.

Harold Herman Kirk, age 79, passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 after a long and lengthy illness. He was born April 27, 1931, the son of the late Fritz and Marie (Hoppe) Kirk. Harold served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane of Appleton; sons: Harold (Rev. Arveda) Kirk of Frederic, Dan (Lori) Kirk of Fremont; daughters: Linda (Tom) McFaul of New London, Sandy Clark of Oshkosh, Kathy (Brian) Kern of California, Patti (John) Rutzinski of New London; grandchildren: Angela, Ramona, Avery, Tiffany (Tim), Joleen (Joe) Shane, Zachary, Calvin, Abigail, Emily; great-grandchildren: Brett, Martina, Sabastian; sister-in-law, Luella Kirk, and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Harold is preceded in death by his brothers, sisters, a grandson, great-grandson and his first wife, June.

In lieu of memorials, please visit an elderly person who would enjoy a visit.

A family service for Harold will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel with the Rev. Arveda “Freddie” Kirk officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. A Military Honors service will follow the family service.
