Guadalupe J. Solis Jr. PhD; died Tuesday July 26, 2011 in Shorewood. He was born December 11, 1960 in Neenah, son of Guadalupe Sr, and Helen (Kosiorek) Solis.
Guadalupe was a professor of English. He taught at the Loft Literacy Center in Minneapolis, MN, Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, MN, and currently at Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee, WI; he was also an award winning author.
He is survived by three children, Justin (Michelle), Menasha, Stefan, Shorewood, and Whitney Solis (Nick Borden), Appleton; two grandchildren, Layne Solis, and Layla Borden; his parents; two sisters, Ann Solis (Wally), Larsen, and Margie (Enrique) Leon, Menasha; two brothers, Richard, Oshkosh, and Patrick (Kim), Appleton.
Memorial service for Guadalupe will be at 3:00 pm, on Saturday July 30, 2011 at the WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI COUNTY CHAPEL. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am until the hour of service.
