HULBERT, GRACE HARRIET
Grace Harriet Hulbert, age 89, of Kimberly, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Grand Horizons in Kimberly. Grace was born on December 1, 1921, in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin, to the late Newell and Agnes (Jackson) Tolcott. She was employed at the Outagamie County Courthouse, retiring in 1986. Grace enjoyed oil painting, knitting and quilting. She was the past president of the Grand Army of the Republic–Wisconsin and a long-time member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Joseph E. Hulbert, Milwaukee; her sons, Joe Hulbert, Menasha, and Terry (Linda) Hulbert, Menasha; five grandchildren, Tanya Hulbert (fiancé Douglas Peterson), Jason Hulbert (fiancé Gretchen Kesler, Bryan Hulbert (partner Michael Van Vonderen, Terry (Shawn) Gatzemeyer and Terry Hulbert, Jr; and two great grandchildren, Laura Pingel and unborn baby girl Gatzemeyer. She is further survived by seven nieces and nephews. Grace was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth (Ernie) Langhoff and Helen (Ozzie) Gleason, and her loyal companion and pet cat, Mitzi. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on FRIDAY, November 12, 2010, at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, Tri-County Chapel, with Dr. Doyle Blanton of First United Methodist Church officiating. Friends may call the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. A memorial has been established in Grace's name to benefit Grand Horizons or Southern Care Hospice. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Grand Horizons and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care.
