Gordon “Gordy” Ratzman Jr., age 83, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2014 at his home in Larsen. On February 22, 1931, Gordy was born to the late Gordon and Margaret (Boelter) Ratzman. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1950 aboard the U.S.S. Wyandot (AKA-92). He started as a lineman and the last 4 years of his employment he was a superintendent in the electrical distribution department.
On August 10, 1960, Gordy married the love of his life, Josephine “Jo”. They spent all of their time together, whether it was working in the yard, taking drives, or watching old black and white movies. It didn't matter what they were doing as long as they were together.
Gordy loved the outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sports, especially NASCAR and the Packers. He was almost always seen in a Green Bay Packers shirt or sweatshirt.
