Gloria W. Fehrman

Gloria Fehrman, age 63, died unexpectedly at her home in Appleton on Friday morning, April 2, 2010. Gloria was born in Appleton on July 5, 1946, daughter of the late Emery and Ella (Zibell) Rusch. She was a graduate of the Appleton High School, and on November 6, 1965 married Larry Fehrman in Appleton. Gloria was a full-time minister, enjoyed decorating her home, and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she enjoyed teaching people about how Jehovah will cleanse the earth and make it a beautiful paradise where sickness, death, and sorrow will be gone forever. She held on to the hope of being resurrected back to this paradise earth as Psalm 37:29 promises: “The righteous themselves will possess the earth and they will reside forever upon it.” Gloria knew the kingdom Jesus taught us to pray for will accomplish all of this.

Gloria is survived by her husband: Larry Fehrman; two children: Shelly (Eric) Hansen of Appleton and Jeremy (Nicole) Fehrman of Appleton and their son Jeremy, II; a daughter-in-law: Kathy Fehrman of Wauwatosa; and five brothers and sisters-in-law: Gloria (Wilbur) Hamblin of Clintonville; Edwin (Juanita) Fehrman of Mundelein, Illinois; Phillip Fehrman of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Carol (Eugene) Vallafskey of Shiocton; and Ruth (James) Pleshek of Appleton. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, a son Brian Fehrman earlier this year, a sister Kathleen Zick, and a sister-in-law Bonne Fehrman.

A memorial service for Gloria will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2909 Roemer Road in Appleton. Mr. Steve Verhagen will give the funeral discourse. Friends may visit the family on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home in Appleton.
