Glen passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, Wisconsin, on April 17, 2026, with his loving wife of 72 years, Rose (Patty) Sturm Griesbach, by his side.

He was born on April 8, 1933, in Mackville, WI to the late H. Louis and Leona (Dresang) Griesbach.

Glen was a builder of custom homes and contributed to numerous commercial restaurant renovations throughout the Fox Valley area. He was a member of the Fox Valley Builders Association and proudly sponsored the Glen Griesbach Builder Softball Team at Memorial Park.

Glen was a man of faith. A lifelong member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, he generously shared his carpentry skills on many parish projects.

He spent many active years camping with his family and enjoying time with his snowmobile, bowling, and golf friends. Glen and his wife, Patty, traveled extensively across the United States and abroad, later spending their winters together at their condo in Port Charlotte, Florida.

In retirement, Glen developed a passion for restoring Farmall tractors and was a member of the Two Cylinder Club.

Glen’s craftsmanship and dedication to his trade left a lasting mark throughout the Fox Valley. The homes he built, the businesses he helped shape, and the relationships he formed stand as a tribute to his skill, hard work, and pride in building things that endure.

Glen is survived by 4 children, Joan Forbes, Greg (Cindy) Griesbach, Deb (Jack) Christianson, and Randy (Linda) Griesbach, Appleton, WI; daughter-in-law Tani Mann, Appleton, WI; 11 grandchildren, Misty (Paul) McMahon, Portland, OR, Jamie (Scott) Griesbach, Adam Griesbach, Sam Griesbach, Stacie (Mike) Lorenz, Emily (Ben) Haupt, Melanie Christianson, Josh (Julie) Christianson, Melanie (Matt) Clarke, Amanda (Kyle) Moyes, and Randall (Katie) Griesbach, Appleton, WI; 11 great grandchildren; and sister Bernice Bedard, Little Chute, WI.

He is predeceased by two beloved sons, Tim Griesbach and Brian Griesbach, son-in-law Pat Forbes, sister Joyce Hermann,and brothers, Eugene Griesbach and Dennis Griesbach.

The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2331 East Lourdes Drive, Appleton, with Father Christin Raj, O. Praem officiating. The visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the ceremony. The interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton.
