The family extends a special thank you to Gerri and Elvin's neighbor, Al Hietpas, who was always ready to lend a hand and to Mom's caregiver, Claire Opsteen, for her patient care of Mom. We also thank Dr. Guenther and the medical team and staff at the Martha Siekman Center, the third floor staff at Appleton Medical Center for the gentle care they gave Mom, the rehabilitation therapists and care staff at the St. Paul Home and lastly the caring nurses, therapists, and support staff of Parkside Care Center where Mom resided her final months.
Mom, you fought “a hell of a battle” with every ounce of energy you had in you. Now you may rest in peace.
