Gerald J. Dorn of Little Chute, WI, passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 88. He was born on November 17, 1937, in New London, WI, to Mathias and Jannett Dorn. Gerald grew up in Appleton and attended St. Therese in his youth and then later worked at Miller Electric for 30 years. Motorcycle adventures with Melba were his passion.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ken (Jonnie) Dorn, sister Bernadette (Phat) Gaffney, and several half-brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Melba Dorn, children, Sheila Arnoldussen, Michele Farrell, Julie (Randy) Kressin, Connie (Mark) Van Rossum, Rita (Jim) Hurley, Jannett Helwig, grandchildren, Sonia, Karmen, Logan, Levi, Gregg, Krista, A.J., Ross, Brett, Troy, Emily, Abigail, Nathaniel, 13 great-grandchildren, and sisters-in-laws, Rita (Fred) Kramer, Yvonne Van Zeeland.

A gathering will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on October 8, 2026, in honor of Geralds life. Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:00pm with a memorial service at 12:00pm. Friends and family are welcome to join.
