Fredric Don Baumgartner

BAUMGARTNER, FREDRIC D.

Fredric D. Baumgartner, 65, of Appleton, died on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah. He was born on October 8, 1943 in Stoughton, Wisconsin, the son of the late Arnold and Rebecca (Gjestson) Baumgartner. On December 5, 1981 he married Sandra Eggenberger at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. Fred was a member of Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church. He worked and retired from Valley Packaging. Fred enjoyed photography, square dancing, bus trips, concerts and plays.

He is survived by his wife: Sandra Baumgartner, Appleton; sister: Sharon (Lee) Samuelson, Lake Tomahawk, WI; brother: John (Carole) Baumgartner, Sparks, NV; sisters-in-law: Gail Ruuti, Black Creek and Lori (Salvador) Arriaga, Green Bay. Fred is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Herbert Wake and a nephew John Samuelson.

The Christian Funeral for Fredric will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at RIVERVIEW EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 136 W. Seymour Street, Appleton with Rev. Dennis W. Belter officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. The visitation will be held at the Wichmann Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm and again at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Riverview Ev. Lutheran Church or The American Cancer Society.
