Finley Rae
Lawson
January 3, 2026 – April 29, 2026
Finley Rae Lawson, the joy of our lives, left us far too soon on April 29, 2026, just before her four-month birthday. She was born on January 3, 2026, to Cody and Madison (Garrity-McMahon) Lawson in Neenah.
Finley was deeply loved from the very first moment of her life. In her short time here, she brought more joy, light, and meaning than words can ever fully express. Her sweet presence, gentle spirit, and beautiful smile filled the days with love.
Finley’s smiley personality always shined bright. She grew quickly once she arrived and developed the most squeezable cheeks, and chunkiest of thighs. She was just perfecting to hold her head up on her own, giggle, and started to get chatty with those she loved. She loved to watch bright lights and go for car rides. She was a road tripper and in her 3 months had already traveled to Iowa, Tennessee, Kentucky (to check out Buc-ee’s) and other places.
Finley loved being held close, listening to familiar voices, and feeling safe in the arms of those who adored her. Every coo, every stretch, every tiny expression was a gift. She had a way of making the world slow down and reminding us of what truly matters.
Finley is survived by her parents Cody and Madison; her fur-brothers Lemon and Cherry; and the abundance of family and friends who are supporting Cody and Madison at this difficult time.
A funeral service will take place on Tuesday May 12, 2026, at 3:00pm, at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N Superior Street, Appleton. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 1:00pm until the service begins.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. A gofundme account has been setup up for her family.
Our sweet Finley Rae, you are so deeply loved and forever missed. We wish we had more time, but we are so grateful for every second we had with you.
Finley's family will celebrate her life privately.
