Boehler, Ethel
Ethel Boehler, 86, was quietly called by her Lord and Savior to join Him in eternal life united once again with her husband Tony and other family members on September 26, 2010. Ethel was born on February 6, 1924, the eldest daughter of Harold and Margaret (Schultz) Rehfeldt in Grand Chute. She married the love of her life Anthony on September 19, 1946 and together they built their home, raised five children and shared nearly 52 years together. She was most happy when surrounded by her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. She took special delight in preparing home cooked meals and baking her favorite desserts especially the often requested strawberry-kiwi cake for birthdays and graduations.
Ethel had a deep faith in the Lord and openly shared her faith with her children teaching us our first prayers, and sharing and supporting us in our own faith journeys through the sacraments. She was truly a Christian and a faithful life long member of Grace Lutheran Church in Appleton enjoying fellowship and serving for many years as usher and volunteer.
Ethel is survived by her five children; daughters, Shirley Probst, Appleton, Cecilia Fischer Neenah, Rose (John) Coon, Appleton, Elaine (Tim) Vogler, Great Falls, Montana, and her son, Allen Boehler, Shiocton 14 grandchildren; Hank (Pam) Probst, Chuck (Juanita) Probst, Alyssa (Fiancé Josh Dieringer) Probst, Stacie (Tim) Ferguson, Kerrie (Doug) Drobnick, Chris, Jamie, Craig (Tasha), and Rachael Fischer (special friend Matt Pribbernow), Andy and Ben Coon, Stephanie (Shawn) Dunnihoo, Nathan and Emily Volger, 16 great grandchildren; Jacob, Logan, Grant and Natalia Probst, Ellinor and Olivia Bogan, Katie Boehler, and Addison Drobnick, Arianna Pribbernow, Isaac, Timothy and Jacob Fischer, Dylon and Trista Coon, Haileigh and Mackenzie Dunnihoo, her sisters, Arlene (Gerald)VanDen Wildenberg, and Jane Griesbach, a brother-in-law Floyd Cottrell, a sister-in-law Margaret Shoulak, her daughter-in-law Caryn Boehler, step grandchildren, Christina Coon and her daughters Kira, Kiana and Kayla Liesch and Joseph (Corrina) Coon, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
