Emily M. Blumer, of Appleton, age 98, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She was born on August 13, 1913 in Red Wing, Minnesota, the daughter of the late August J. and Lura (Gordon) Becker. Emily is survived by her daughter: Patricia (Donald) Brehm; grandchildren: Richard (Michele) Brehm, Pamela (Scott) Johnson, and Lori Darga; great grandchildren: Kimberley and Andrew Brehm; brother: Donald (Martha) Becker; and her sister: Helen Becker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Blumer, and two sisters and a brother. A private memorial service will be held at a future date.
