Age 80, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 2, 2010. She was born in West Allis, WI August 10, 1929, the daughter of the late Walter and Hattie Schultz. In 1950 she married Wayne Bleick. Ellen enjoyed raising her family and then went on to work for Memorial Florists for 15 years. She enjoyed making jewelry, gardening, sewing, decorating, boating, and traveling. Ellen will be remembered for being a devoted mother.

Ellen is survived by her children: Christopher, Mary, Daniel, David (Barb), and Jonathon; grandchildren: Jasen (Robin) Bleick, Matthew (Jodi) Schmalz, Jayme (Don) Winkers, Racheal Schmalz, and Trevor Bleick; numerous great-grandchildren; and sisters: Marion Fitzsimmons and Caroline (Warren) Schmidt. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Don Schultz.

The funeral service will at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Appleton Highland Memorial Park, Star of Hope Chapel, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with Rev. Leon Knitt officiating. Friends will be received at the chapel on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Ellen’s name is being established.
