Elizabeth “Beth” Anne Pankratz (Schwartz) of Kaukauna, WI passed away on May 22, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born to Allen and Margaret (Griesbach) Schwartz on October 29, 1969 in Appleton, WI. After graduating high school, Beth worked several jobs, but would best be known for her work in healthcare, in both assisted living and health insurance roles. She met the love of her life, John “Jack” Pankratz and they were married in July of 2005.
Beth was one of the most compassionate and caring people you could ever have the luck of meeting. She thrived on helping others and was genuinely interested and invested in everyone’s needs and wants. Beth was a lover of animals, especially her dog, Mika. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her mac and cheese, her chili, her lasagna, and many other dishes beloved by her hungry kids and grandkids. Beth also had an affinity for the outdoors, spending much of her free time camping with her family. You could often find her tending to her rose bushes, in which she took great pride. More than anything, though, family always came first for Beth. Her grandkids were especially important to her. She loved to spoil them with everything that they could ever want. Beth was so proud of everyone she helped to raise and loved them above everything else in this world.
Beth will be deeply missed by her husband, Jack Pankratz; her son, Steve (Marissa) Pankratz; her grandchildren, Aiden, Ellie “Ellie Bellie”, and Noah “Damson” Pankratz; her sister-in-law, Michele (Chris) Anderson; her brother-in-law, Mike (Lynn) Pankratz; her Godchildren, Christopher and Cody Shepard; her nephews and nieces, Cameron (Julia) Anderson Brittany (TeeJay) Spielman; Saddie Pankratz, Trevor Pankratz, and Graeson Pankratz; as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Margaret Schwartz; and her in-laws, Ray and Marian Pankratz.
A funeral visitation will be held for Beth from 9-11 AM on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave, Kaukauna, WI 54130 with a short time for sharing of memories at 11 AM. Beth will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna, WI. Beth loved flowers, especially roses and lilies, so don’t be afraid to send some!
Beth’s family would like to extend a special thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff at Aurora Baycare Medical Center for their care and expertise given to Beth during her time of need.
