Age 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 after a courageous 9 year battle with Parkinson's Disease. Betty was born on October 28, 1927 in Appleton daughter of the late Conrad and Mary (Gruentzel) Boehler. Betty was a life long active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Appleton, where she was involved as a hospitality minister, working in the kitchen for funerals, and was a ready volunteer wherever needed. Betty best enjoyed spending time with her family and had many interests including traveling with Floyd. She also worked as the bookkeeper for the business they owned together. She is survived by her devoted husband, Floyd; her children; Michael (Mary Ellen), of Appleton; Bruce (Patty), of Green Bay, Jodi (Nick) Ulman, of Appleton, and Randy (Mary Ann), of Appleton. Betty is also survived by her grandchildren, Sean (Jamie) Cottrell, Erin Cottrell, Jessica, Amy, and Melissa Cottrell, Casey (Dave) Rudey, Jason Ulman, Alli, Adam and Sarah Cottrell; great grandchildren, James, Dillon, and Gabrielle; and a sister, Margaret Shoulak, of Fond du Lac. Betty was preceded in death by a brother Tony.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday November 7, 2008 at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence St., Appleton, with Fr. Larry Abler officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Appleton. A memorial is being established.
