Elaine Katherine Williams

Elaine Katherine Williams, 80, of Menasha, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, after a difficult battle with esophageal cancer.

Elaine was born in Neenah, Wisconsin, on November 24, 1942, to Roy and Frances Burt.

On October 3, 1959, she married the love of her life, Ronald Charles Williams. Ron and Elaine were married for 52 years and raised 6 beautiful children.

She worked as a hostess at 3^rd Street Diner before her illness, she was loved by everyone there and well known for her genuine kindness. They were like her second family.

Elaine was very active, walked 5 miles every day and competed in a total of 7 marathons! She got the whole family involved and they did many marathons together. She took great pride in her lawn and flowers every summer. She loved camping, campfires and she treasured the girls' trip every year when she went camping with her daughters.

Elaine loved to dance! Every wedding she went to, they couldn’t get her off the dance floor. Ricky Nelson was her favorite singer! She also greatly enjoyed spending time with her dear friend Nancy Buksyk, together they loved going to Door County, the casino and flower shopping.

Elaine is survived by her children; Rick (Kim) Williams, Kim Korth, Lori (Dan) Kowalczyk, Peggy (Pat) Guyette, Chris Williams, Tina (Jeff) Paalman, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Deloyd, her son-in-law Ron Korth, grandson Justin Williams and her beloved dog Kelly.

We will leave you with her favorite words.... “I’m walking my way to heaven, and I’m taking my time”. Mom, you finally made it! You will be in our hearts forever.

A visitation time will be held for Elaine at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (528 Second St., Menasha, WI 54952) on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 10 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. She will be buried at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah at a later date.
