Obituary

Sharon “Elaine” Kolpack, born February 23, 1950, passed away on October 19, 2026.

Born in Texas, Elaine proudly served in the United States Navy. While stationed in Washington, D.C., she met Bryce, beginning a love story that would span 54 years of marriage and a lifetime of shared memories.

Elaine was a kind and loving person who found joy in spending time with family and visiting with friends. She was an inaugural volunteer with the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team, established in 1997, helping support victims of crime and their families. Her commitment to serving others reflected the compassion and generosity she brought to so many parts of her life.

Elaine had a special love for quilting and shared that love generously, making quilts for just about everyone she knew. She also devoted her time and talents to making Quilts of Valor for veterans, combining her love of quilting with her appreciation for those who served.

Elaine especially treasured her family and adored her grandchildren. She took great joy in being part of their lives, and the love she had for them was a special part of who she was. She also looked forward to wintering in Florida with Bryce, where they enjoyed many days playing golf together.

Elaine is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bryce; her son Eric and daughter-in-law Holly, and grandson Jacob; and her son Jason and daughter-in-law Kristy, and grandsons Carter and Chase. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will remember her for her generous heart, her thoughtfulness, and the love she shared so freely.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Eternal Love Lutheran Church, 1011 E. Midway Road, Appleton, WI 54915. A luncheon will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team, an organization close to Elaine’s heart. Donations can be made at victimcrisisresponse.org/donate.
