WAGNER, EILEEN J.

Eileen Wagner, of Appleton, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, February 20, 2009 at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born on September 29, 1926 in the Town of Wolf River, the daughter of the late John and Linda (Danke) Leiby. On June 1, 1947 at Hope United Church of Christ, she married the love of her life, Jacob Wagner. Her family will remember this wonderful lady as a strong role model with a deep abiding faith. Eileen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband: Jake Wagner, Appleton; her children: Jim (DeDe) Wagner, West Bend; Bob (Sandy) Wagner, Waupaca; Sue (Joe) Schouten, Appleton and Linda (Peter) VanBeaver, Wilbraham, MA; grandchildren: Nate (Renee) Wagner and Nick (Jessica) Wagner; David Wagner and Jason (Meredith Forbes) Wagner; Joe (Stephanie) Schouten and Andy Schouten; Jonathan, Rachel and Allison VanBeaver; great grandchildren: Kaleb Wagner and Aesop Wagner.

The funeral service for Eileen will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, February 23, 2009 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Rev. Brian Tokoph officiating. Burial will take place at the Wolf River Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Touchmark Employee Fund are appreciated.
